Included in the fees are accommodation, meals, personal toiletries, social care and laundry - we have our own commercial laundry, to Health Service specification HSG95(18). Bed linen is pure cotton and sent out to a professional laundry.Dry cleaning is sent out and will be charged for at cost.

An occupational therapist visits regularly to offer individual and group therapy including music and movement. We engage outside entertainers and organise internal events such as quizzes. There are also outside trips organised such as theatre visits or Christmas shopping trips. Suitable transport and qualified escorts are always provided for external trips but families are both welcome and encouraged to accompany their relatives. All of these activities are provided at no charge except for theatre tickets and similar.

In addition to normal care procedures, we offer additional services in-house ranging from chiropody and opticians to hairdressing and aromatherapy and are happy to arrange other services on request. The costs are added to the monthly bill or may be paid for out of patients' personal cash accounts.

We will arrange transportation for individual patients for private outings or out-patient and other hospital or medical appointments as well as escort by care staff (our own or agency, as necessary) where relatives are unable to accompany and will charge for these at cost.

Newspapers and other periodicals may be ordered and will be delivered daily and charged to the patients account.
