Kingsmount joined with the prestigious Mount Olivet Nursing Home in Paignton recently and has undergone extensive refurbishment, which is on-going.

Kingsmount is a comprehensively equipped Private Residential Home with a wonderful outlook over Torbay in Oldway, Paignton. It was formerly part of the Oldway estate and legend has it that it was originally built for a "close personal friend" of Isaac Singer, of sewing machine fame, who built Oldway Mansion and that there was a tunnel connecting the two buildings.
